Description & Schedule

The workshop will be conducted by distinguished urban economists and will study in depth some founding principles and frontier topics on urban economics. Conceived as a “Handbook Conference,” leading researchers will host a one-day session on Saturday, November 9th during the 2019 LACEA meeting in Puebla. This initiative is aimed at increasing the exposure to urban issues to economists whose research is focused on the Latin American region and attend LACEA regularly. We invite economists with an interest in urban and regional topics, as well as economists in Labor, Development, Public, Trade, and other applied fields. The event is co-organized and sponsored by the Urban Economics Association and LACEA.
